• Only submit content you have the right to share — including photos and flyers.
• We may edit, decline or remove any submission at any time.
• Event and business details can change without notice; always confirm with the organizer or venue.

By browsing The Middie Beat or submitting anything through it, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The Middie Beat is an independent editorial guide highlighting events, restaurants, activities, local businesses and deals. We are not affiliated with the City of Middletown or with any venue, organizer or business featured on the site unless we explicitly say so.

Listings are free. Featuring a business or event is not an endorsement, review, certification or recommendation, and it is not a paid placement.

When using the site, please don't:

• Submit false, misleading, defamatory, hateful, harassing or unlawful content.
• Impersonate a business, venue, organizer or person you don't represent.
• Post spam, scams, adult content or promotions unrelated to the local community.
• Scrape, bulk-copy or republish site content without permission.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.

We may block access or remove content if these rules are broken.

Anyone can submit an event or business for free through our event submission and business submission forms. Here's how those submissions are handled:

• Review first. Submissions arrive as pending items in a private admin queue. Nothing appears on the public site until it has been reviewed and published by our team.
• We may edit. We routinely fix formatting, wording, dates, categories and details for clarity and consistency.
• We may decline or remove. We can reject, unpublish or delete any submission for any reason, including duplicates, inaccuracy or a poor fit for the site.
• No guarantee. Submitting something does not guarantee it will be published, or published by a certain date.
• Uploaded images. Flyers and photos are stored privately and are only shown publicly if the listing is published and you confirmed you have permission to share the image.

You keep ownership of everything you submit. By submitting content, you confirm you own it or have permission to share it, and you grant The Middie Beat a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, edit, resize, adapt and promote that content on the site, in our newsletter and on our social channels.

You are responsible for making sure your submission doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

Event times, prices, menus, hours, addresses and deals change often — sometimes at the last minute. The Middie Beat provides information "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Always confirm details directly with the venue, organizer or business before you go, spend money or make plans.

The site links to third-party websites and services, including voluntary support through Buy Me a Coffee. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, terms or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

Contributions through Buy Me a Coffee are entirely voluntary, are not tax-deductible donations, and don't purchase advertising, placement, featured status or any other benefit on the site. Listings and submissions remain free for everyone. Payments are processed by Buy Me a Coffee, not by The Middie Beat.

The Middie Beat name, logo, design and original editorial content belong to The Middie Beat. Business names, logos, flyers and photos belong to their respective owners and appear here for informational purposes.

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, email admin@themiddiebeat.com and we'll review it promptly.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Middie Beat and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, from reliance on any listing, or from your interactions with any business, venue or event organizer featured here.

We may add, change, pause or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
